Today was a boring travel day. We had an early breakfast and caught the shuttle bus to Livingston airport at 9am.
The airport was very busy and check in extremely chaotic. It looked like it would take for ever, when suddenly we were ushered to the front of the queue as BA had announced check in.
After a long and chaotic process we checked in and went to the lounge.
The flight to Johannasburg was fine. Once at the airport the Hotel shuttle bus took us to the hotel. Not a great place despite being a five star hotel. They put us in a smokers room. We complained and eventually got a good room facing the garden pool.
However, the temperature here is not that warm, only 16 degrees. We wandered into the casino and shopping mall next door. What an awful place. Full of fat people feeding themselves or slot mahcines.
we came back to our room and ordered room service and watched a video. Cant wait to get to Namibia. Joburg is bloody awful!!
