Today marked the start of our epic five and a half week African adventure.
We dropped off Heather (our dog) at John’s parents in Kent. John’s Dad had a very painful hand which he had damaged three weeks earlier. We was in a lot of pain!!
We said our goodbyes, dropped the car at Fiona’s work car park and took a taxi to the new Terminal 5. Everything went smoothly and the new BA Club lounge was fantastic with large, cold glasses of bubbly and hot and cold snacks.
The plane took off on time and the new club seats were great. They recline into a completely flat bed and the new on demand video system was excellent.
