Canada - Day 4 - 24th June

Today was spent driving from Calgary to Bamff. The drive up was fine as the early heavy rain in Calgary had passed over and the sun began to peep through. As we approached the rockies, the scenary changed dramaticlly, with steep mountain walls, water falls and lakes.

We arrived in Bamff at approximately 1 pm. Our room was not ready until 3, so we visited the town centre and had the smallest bowl's of soup imaginable!!

We then visited the various tourist info outlets, planning our rockies agenda.

Once back at our lodge, we arrived at our room and immediately asked if we could change our room. They were fine with this and we moved to a nicer lodge.

After settling in, we went to the sun terrace for a wee drinkie. The wine here is very good but also expensive.

We had a good evening meal at the lodge. Great cheese board and wonderful Salmon.

We have planned some good walks for tomorrow and the weather is looking good.
